Nana Pomegrante plants in 5 Litre deco pots. Ideal summer patio plant
Punica granatum Nanum. This is, as it were, a scale model of Pomegranate and as such, makes an ideal plant for pot culture. Indeed, it is now often offered as a house plant although it is, incidentally, possibly a hardier plant than the much larger normal Pomegranate (Punica granatum) and makes a good miniature shrub for the rockery.
May be hardy outside in some regions with frost-free protection in winter. Growing to 3ft (90cm), however we recommend a light pruning after flowering. These plants have survived mins 5 Celsius this winter being kept dry in an unheated greenhouse.
