This much sought after variety, Mara de Bois, combines the sweet, aromatic flavours of a wild strawberry with the fruit size of a modern hybrid. Top chef's chase these flavours every summer!
The berries are a lovely deep red when ripe and Mara de Bois crops over a long period too - May to September
Water regularly and a half strength monthly liquid feed during the growing season will keep them fruiting all summer!
